Volunteer Roles That
Make a Difference

We’re a growing movement of survivors, supporters, and community builders who show up with love and action. Every volunteer helps carry that mission forward—whether you organize, comfort, educate, or simply stand beside a sister in need.

Admin Team

Strategist Sisters

This team organizes the details behind the movement—tracking events, managing sign-ups, and gathering insights so every effort stays on course and every sister gets the support she deserves.

You’d love this role if you enjoy structure, spreadsheets, and helping things run smoothly.
 
You might:
  • Log event details & create simple recap notes.
  • Track sign-ups and RSVPs.
  • Collect feedback and highlight insights.

Time commitment: 8–10 hrs/month (less for non-lead roles)

Welcome Team

Connector Sisters

Be the first friendly face new members meet.

Connectors help new families and supporters feel seen and supported from the start, offering guidance, encouragement, and simple check-ins that build lasting community.

You’d love this role if you’re warm, chatty, and quick to make others feel safe.

You might:
  • Greet new sisters, explain our services, and match them with the right support.
  • ​Send encouraging follow-up texts or calls.

Time commitment: 4–10 hrs/month

Caregiver Team

Comfort Sister

Show up for sisters when it matters most.

From driving to treatment appointments to delivering care packages, this team provides hands-on help and emotional support for those walking through treatment and recovery.

You’d love this role if: you’re dependable and don’t mind a hospital hallway now and then.

You might:
  • Drop off vitamins or medical supplies.
  • Drive a sister to treatment.
  • Offer a steady presence and gentle reassurance.

Time commitment: 6–12 hrs/month

Event Volunteer Team

Event Sisters

Bring our community gatherings to life.

Event volunteers handle the heart and logistics of our programs—planning, setting up, decorating, and making sure every event feels warm, organized, and empowering.

You might:
  • Plan run-of-show details.
  • Decorate, set up, or break down event spaces.
  • Host raffles or online auctions (Fundraising Sub-Team).

Time commitment: 8–12 hrs/mo during event seasons
